Tony Francis

Anthony Francis is the founder and President of Uni Enterprises, Inc. In addition to managing the firm, Mr. Francis takes an active role with clients, and his extensive transactional and corporate finance experience serves as a valuable resource. Through membership on boards of directors and his active involvement in outside business operations, Mr. Francis has developed a keen understanding of the challenges faced by middle market and emerging growth companies.

Mr. Francis has negotiated, structured and executed various types of transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; corporate and transactional financing, including venture capital, mezzanine and conventional financing; and private placements. He has been involved in over 1,000 transactions over the past 3 decades.

With experience as an investment banker, Mr. Francis has also developed a unique understanding of the issues faced and alternatives available for distressed companies. He has particular experience in developing financial restructuring plans, negotiating with creditors and guiding debtors through bankruptcy proceedings. Nationally recognized for his investment banking expertise, Mr. Francis lectures on timely issues relating to middle market investment banking.

In addition to his three decades of investment banking experience, Mr. Francis has founded, operated and sold seven private companies in the past. This experience has given him a truly unique understanding of the goals and concerns of the private business owner. Mr. Francis has served on boards of directors of several companies.

Travis Watters has extensive Mergers & Acquisitions and corporate finance related experience. His origination, structuring and transaction execution experience with M&A related assignments includes full and partial sales, recapitalizations, corporate divestitures, mergers, joint ventures and acquisitions for both public and privately held companies, with both strategic parties and private equity investors. His experience also includes valuation, capital structure advisory, due diligence consulting, and capital raising assignments including senior debt, mezzanine debt, high yield debt and private equity. He has a successful record of engagements for clients in a variety of industries.

Mr. Watters has experience working with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and business owners ranging from entrepreneurs to multi-generation families. He has expertise in evaluating the strategic and capital markets opportunities and challenges of businesses and their shareholders and then devising and executing capital markets strategies designed to create or realize shareholder value.

Prior to joining Uni Enterprises, Mr. Watters worked at BBVA in the investment banking group advising clients on capital raises, acquisition and divestiture strategies. Before joining BBVA, Mr. Watters worked in the Capital Advisory and Business Services group at Montgomery Coscia Greilich, where he focused on transaction services, quality of earnings analysis and operational modeling. Mr. Watters also spent time in a middle market private equity firm where he was responsible for modeling and reviewing acquisition opportunities. He started his career with Flatiron Capital Partners, a middle market investment banking firm.

Mr. Watters graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University where he received a BBA in Finance and an MBA in Finance and Accounting.
